Format Error - Sony NW-E405 player

Hello,

Stupidly I've formatted the player with windows explorer. Now I can
transfer files with Sonic stage but i'm getting "Format Error" message.
Any help on this?

You don't say what os. Winxp will format at fat32 by default. You can
specify fat (fat16). You need to use the one the device came with.

I have found solution with the help of the PDF file NW-E 400 manuals
which comes together
with sonic stage program.

1.Press and hold Menu button
2.Find Advanced Menu
3.Press Play button
4.Press Format ( Choose OK, press play button and after 1 second the
player is formatted)

That was all.
